Neurogenic Bladder
Hi I am 25 years old male & have been suffering from acute urinary problems for the last 5 years. I had lost the reflex mechanism that helps one to pass urine once his bladder is full. The allopathic doctors call this as neurogenic bladder. Due to this my kidneys were also getting affected. I went to all the top-notch doctors right from Ganga Ram, AFMC pune, Manipal Bangalore, to Apollo Delhi. I was put on all sorts of allopathic medicines but none seemed to work. I was also operated for bladder neck so as to ease the flow of urine. But it just worsened the problem. I used to have tightness along the prostrate region & lack of coordination beween the urge to pass urine & the actual passing of urine. Along with all this I was also having chronic constipation problem. The only solution that Allopathic Dr told me was, to physically empty the bladder 3-4 times a day (known as self catheterisation). The solution was non-implementable as it leads to further infections & need a lot of hygiene & you can’t do it on every other place. When I came to Dr A. K. Gupta I was having no urge at all for passing urine & used to pass urine only twice a day & that too while passing stool. He listened to my case and gave me certain homeopathic medicines. Within few weeks I started having urge & tightness along prostrate started decreasing. Now I have lesser constipation problems. Over all I am very much happy to have atleast some treatment to my problems & am looking forward to the day when I will totally get rid of the problem which allopathic Dr’s call incurable. All I would like to say is that unlike general misconception, that homeopathy is slow, non-effective for problems requiring operations, homeopathy is quite quick & at times the only sort of treatment available. It’s high time that we start considering it as a first line of treatment.
